You mightn't recognise the name Felix Snow immediately, but you'll definitely be familiar with his production work, having absolutely nailed a signature sound on projects with TDE star SZA and this summer's key emerging vocalist Kiiara. Felix is stepping out on his own for the very first time this week with a typically mesmerising pop single, the intricately layered, extra-jittery 'Slow'. True to form, though, Felix has brought in a rough diamond to hop on lead vocals in 16 year-old singer-producer Madi. Snow bigged up Madi's talents to The FADER, saying: "Madi is the truth. She's 16 and if she keeps it up will be a better producer than me at 25. She's already an Ableton wiz and, as you can hear, has this goddess voice." That voice of hers really is something, a sort of ice-cool pitch-twisted croon akin to Georgia's or indeed Kiiara's which gels perfectly with Snow's elastic rhythms.
